Yes, it has been a long time!

Ok, I know it has been a really long time...again... We have been so busy! We have been attending the church I told you all about a while back and it has been so great getting to be part of a family again! We love the people we have met. The church is tiny and really rely on each other. They have helped me by sitting the girls, having play dates, flipping over the a/c (and in the process flooding our bathroom-lol)! It was definitely something to laugh about! We have joined a small group and become so much closer through that. I have missed being part of small group and just part of a church. As for my faith, it is honestly kind of idle. I still trust God's plan and I have faith that no matter what happens, He loves us and His plan is perfect. Unfortunately, I do not feel as close to Him as I did before depolyment and just after Michael left. It doesn't help that I have been battling minor depression and it is hard most mornings to get out of bed. I used to wake up before the girls to have my quiet time with the Lord, but lately that has not been the case. I have made several good Christian Army Wife friends which has been a great blessing. They have made me laugh, taken me out for girl's nights, invited us into their homes for holidays, and birthday parties and just hung out with us, blessing us in ways they will never know. As I write this, tears that have not been shed for months run down my cheeks. I have so many blessings and I am so thankful for God's faithfulness. My husband is safe and we are about half way done with this deployment. My girls are doing well though I have seen some behavioral changes. Gabriella is finished with therapy and seems happier. Adelynn has trouble sleeping in her bed all night especially after being left in any child care situation. They miss Daddy. How would they not? Michael is such a wonderful Father. He has a way of making each of us always feel so loved and so special. He amazes me everyday. As I think about the next 86 days before we see him again, I hope the fly by. The girls will attend VBS and I will volunteer during the week, then we will head off to Disney World with my Aunt for a few days. After that the girls and I will fly to Virginia and spend close to 3 weeks with Michael's parents and visit many places and do so many things. By the time we head back to El Paso, July will almost be over! We then head back to Virginia to meet Michael on his 2 week R&R. It seems like the rest of the year is just around the corner! Anyway, if I have spare time, I hope to write, but as I have said it before, this time, I make no promises. Good night for now. Thanks for all of you who continue to keep our family in your prayers. We love you all.
