Adelynn's room
We got the girls new ride on toys and took them for a walk with them. They love their new toys and ride them all around the house.
Adelynn's first night in a toddler bed. She want straight to sleep and has done well ever since. She loves that she can get out and play with all her toys in the morning!

This just doesn't give justice to how massive this truck is!
Gabriella is wondering how all our stuff really fit on the truck!
One week later the moving truck arrived! Adelynn is looking at the amazingly huge truck in front of our house.
The girls needed something to do and we didn't have swim suits so they played on a new slip n slide in our beautiful back yard.
Our first dinner in our new house! NOTE: we have only the stuff we brought in our car! We borrowed a table and chairs and cookware from the Army and the previous homeowners left their refridgerator, washer and dryer. It was fun not having stuff for a week!
Billy HATES El Paso!.....poor Billy:-( Actually, after he dried off and explored his new house he seems happier here than he was in San Antonio. He is even getting fat again!

This was Billy introduction to El Paso! I was at Walmart getting him cat food and this is what happened! (He WAS sticky from the Benedryl).
The homeowners handing over our new house! They gave us a tour, introduced us to the neighbors and then they were off to their new adventure in Colorado! They lived in this house for 15 years...since it was brand new and are moving in with one of their sons after retiring from the Army. Good luck to them and we thank them for a beautiful house:-)
STAIRS!!!!!
This wide load was in front of us and we thought it was funny. Do you know what this is? We don't...a bellybutton on the road?
The morning we left for El Paso was very eventful. We planned to wake up at 2:00 in the morning and be on the road by 2:30. We didn't think this plan through too well, because we forgot we would still need to drug the cat for taking him with us, finish loading up the car and worrying about all the things that might get left behind. We also didn't have a full tank of gas and wanted to get "breakfast" for on the road! Again, not well thought through! Giving a cat Benedryl with out a syringe is interesting. Billy was foaming at the mouth and not happy about the process of being given medicine. We were worried that since most of the medicine spilled he wouldn't sleep during the trip so we went to Walmart and picked up Benedryl tablets. Michael thought cats took pills like dogs do. So he put the tablet in Billy's mouth, held his mouth closed and blew in his nose...this works for a dog to swallow their pill in case you didn't know...Billy had no part of this endevor either though! But Mike held his mouth closed long enough for some of the pill to dissolve and we all hoped this would work. It worked and we were off - it was now 4:40am. The girls stayed awake for about the first hour or two of the trip and then slept for about 2 hours. We got out and stretched our legs and then got back in the car and were off for another 2 hours while the girls played (talked) and slept some more and then stopped again. It rained for a bit and we were all anxious to get into town to our new house. We stopped just outside El Paso to get some lunch and then arrived at our new house! The girls were trilled to see stairs in their new house!
