Okay, so I admit I posted too many pictures of this place, but we are really excited about the girls birthday party this year! This is the place we are having it. Both girls had lots of fun jumping and playing. Only 1 month till the big day!

Favorite Toy

Aunt Jo Ann got this shopping cart for Adelynn for Christmas and it is her absolute favorite toy yet! She walks around the room and back and forth with it all day! No matter how tired she is, if you set her down next to it she has to walk! It has 4 fruit/vegetable shapes that fit into their perspective spots and if you put them in there she MUST throw them out! The first few times into the basket after that if you continue to put them back she ends up throwing them on the floor. I love her personality - she is so funny.

Jen's birthday

We had a fellowship night at our house that same week for our sunday school class from church. We played games, ate pizza and had a "little" cake! It wasn't technically a birthday party, but it was lots of fun. It was a great week!

Aunt Jo Ann took me out to dinner on my birthday. It was really nice. We went to Pappadeux and I ate my favorite, Salmon Yvette -yumm! They brought dessert with a candle - praline cheesecake, again, yumm!

My girls are helping me open some of my presents.Gabriella colored wrapping paper for the gift she made me and wrapped it all by herself!

This year Michael started school ON my birthday, so we ended up doing more of a birthday week. It was pretty fun!

My (Jen) friend Casey came over with her daughter so we could catch up and let the girls play. They both happened to be wearing track suits - cute! The girls are a month and a half apart.

Sorry it has been a month since I have updated. There have been a lot of things happening, but I have not been motivated to blog lately. I will try to keep up now.

Happy New Year!

This year we decided to have a kid friendly new year's eve. I guess you could say that the craziness of the holidays finally got to us. Sure, we would have loved to have friends over for games or gone somewhere to play games with friends, but we were definetly grateful for a fun quiet night at home as a family. I cooked a nice dinner and we put the air matresses in the living room - a family favorite! Gabriella had hot chocolate and I made yummy eggnog lattes for Michael and I with my new espresso machine!Last night was the first time we experienced Gabriella on a true sugar high! It was really funny to watch her run and slide across the living room floor - back and forth until she was just too tired too do it anymore! We watched movies and talked about 2008 and what we would be looking foward to in 2009.
