Gabriella drew a beautiful picture of Jesus in the manger, Jesus dying on the cross, Jesus preaching to the crowd, some crosses and at the top she wrote I love Jesus without any help. I am so proud of her.

Gabriella's team got medals at their last game for sportsmanship! I am so proud of them and for Gabriella scoring her first two goals!

Adelynn loves tacos!

Did you know Build a Bear outfits fit babies too?

Fiesta

Gabriella got her face painted at Wayside's Family Fiesta!

Both looking out the same window.

They each had their own window, a blanket to sit on and lots of snacks

Awww...sisters

What it looked like from the other side...

You can see the river floats behind her and see how close we were.

What is all this?

We brought our own cotton candy - she loved it!

I took the girls to the river parace by myself without having seats and found a pretty good spot at the beginning of the parade! We had a great time. The girls waved to the people on the floats and danced to the music. I'm so glad I was brave enough to go.

My little cheerleader!

Such a proud mama:-)

A rooster - in our yard!

The rooster spent the night on the a/c unit.

Our neighbor down the street bought a rooster and it had escaped from their yard and made it over to ours. Gabriella had a great time chasing it around the yard and even said she wanted to catch it so we could eat it for dinner! HA! Kids are hilarious!

Belle Dog

This is nurse Belle Dog making sure her Mommy is ok after surgery.
Belle Dog and Gabriella going for a walk in the wagon.

Belle Dog was such a sweet dog. She was always happy to see us and she always thought she was still a puppy. She loved to chase squirrels and bark at birds and anyone walking by. She sounded like a good guard dog, but she really was just a gentle dog. She would bark ferociously at people she didn't know, but if they went to pet her, she would put her tail between her legs and wait patiently as they rubbed her head. She was great with the girls. Gabriella would take Belle on "walks" around the house and the back yard and they would play chase together all the time. Adelynn was just starting to get to know how great Belle Dog was. She would look for her from her chair while she was eating and feed her whatever she didn't want anymore, then laugh because she thought it was great that the dog would eat from her hand or what she threw on the floor. Belle loved to go for rides in the car and play in the water. She would always howl when the firetrucks would drive by and when Gabriella was a baby I would have to run to the door to let Belle Dog out so her howling wouldn't wake her up. I still wait to hear her whenever I hear a firetruck. Belle loved Billy Cat too. She thought it was her job to harass him when he was doing something he wan't supposed to do. Belle Dog and Billy Cat never understood each other. Billy's tail would twitch when he was mad at Belle, so she thought he wanted to play. Belle always talked to Billy while she was pretending to eat his head and Billy would hiss and growl and bat at her with his paws, so Belle thought he liked it! Belle spent her 8 years with us from the time she was just a puppy. I will miss her and think about her often, but at least now she is no longer in pain.

Our house before, during and now

This is the master before we painted it.

This is a small picture, but this is the color the house ended up. We love it!

Sorry it's sideways, we painted the master bath. It looked great after

Yes! I painted the garage to look like a nice laundry room

Our front door had 3 different colors!

We trusted that this color would look okay! YUCK!

Baby poop colored garage!

Easter

Gabriella loved the cascarones! She thought it was very funny to crack them over her sister's head - Adelynn didn't really mind.

Adelynn wasn't too sure about finding the eggs, but she loves to open them and carry them around!

Gabriella found an egg hidden in the tree. She didn't want help getting it out, so she climbed up to get it!

A little late, but here are some pictures from Easter.

Easter activites

Gabriella and I colored eggs while Adelynn and Daddy watched!

Random Gabriella-ness

Above and below is at Gabriella's school. They made patriotic floats and had a parade around the playground. Then they sang the national anthem while standing at attention. One of the teachers husband is a soldier and he taught them to come to attention and salute the flag - SO cute!

Gabriella really has started acting like a 5 year old kid! She acts silly and does and says silly things - that actually make you laugh pretty hard sometimes! The bunny costume is a size 2T!
